Being from Nottingham I am always happy to perform close-up magic locally and this was no exception.

Hilton Nottingham is in the city centre and so was easy to get to. I used this as an opportunity to do some shopping in my favorite shop Ted baker before the gig started where I bought some new pair of shoes.

The event was an English wedding reception party with the hosts being from Nottingham.

For this event I was just performing close-up Magic at the tables-a table magician.

The tricks I perform for table magic are usually different to mix and mingle magic. And so for this one my special trick of the night was to make a ring disappear from my hand and appear on a key ring, and then for it to magically disappear again and to appear inside a wallet inside another wallet inside another wallet and inside a red folded up cloth. This was on the table the whole time. This received great reactions.

Once my slot had finished I then left the event and met my friends for a drink at Pitcher and Piano in Nottingham where I amazed some locals with some magic.

"We booked Dr Magic for our corporate Christmas Party. We have quite a few sceptics in our team but we were all blown away by the fantastic magic. This is street magic at its best-this man gives Dynamo a run for his money! Highly recommended."

"For the Lonely Planet Street Food Festival we were looking for entertainment which would be unique and engaging and Dr Magic fitted the bill perfectly. The journalists and members of the public who attended the festival were unanimously amazed by his tricks”"
